E\PCOS 2001

 

The first E\PCOS 2001 conference was held from September 3 and 4, 2001 at the Berghotel Säntis in Switzerland, near to the old textile & university city of St. Gallen.

The Host Organizer for the first E\PCOS 2001 conference were Walter Hofmann and Gian Anto Zardini, founders and directors of Memex Optical Media Solutions AG, a start-up company for optical storage technologies, which was later acquired by Pfeiffer Vacuum.
